There may be an issue with the Joomla version in the quickstart and the installers

Are you familiar with how to use discover option to recover not full installed extensions?

Hi!

There are at least three erros in this release of Grid4 Quickstart.

1) I have this message in "Extesions/warnings section":

<<The PHP temporary folder is not set.
The PHP temporary folder is the folder that PHP uses to store an uploaded file before Joomla can access this file. Whilst the folder not being set isn't always a problem, if you are having issues with manifest files not being detected or uploaded files not being detected, setting this in your php.ini file might fix the issue. >>

2) The database was not OK, and I tryed to press "Fix" Button.

3) In Extensions/Install I have also this error message:

<<Warning
No installation plugin has been enabled. At least one must be enabled to be able to use the installer. Go to the Plugin Manager to enable the plugins.>>

Can you help me, please?
Unfortunately, I am not familiar with "discover option to recover not full installed extensions".
Thanks!
Cheers

Hi

1. The first one relates to the server and isn't related to the file but isn't normally a problem

2. The database is our fault sorry about that

3. I posted a thread - I'll just get the link about it

Apologies for 2. and 3.

Hi

Some guidance for you;

1) The path to the Joomla temporary folder is usually set in

Global Configuration > Server > Server Settings > Path to Temp Folder

it is usually the site root and /tmp, or can be set in php elsewhere. As Paul says this is not usually a problem and sometime saving the config will grab the file path anyway. If there are other issue with the joomla issue then is likely to be permission on the server. Joomla uses the temp file to write to and temporarily store files.

Hi, Ian!
Thanks for your help, but I tried to save the configuration and the warning is not changed.
The path is:

/home/celitablogger/public_html/tmp

With Filezilla I saw that the tmp folder is there.

I have this screen:

temp-path-00.png

My hosting provier is GoDaddy. Must I call it?
Thanks and cheers!

Yes, Paul,

I tried to install JCH Optimize and all went OK. I used "Upload & Install Joomla Extension".
