Joomla contacts

The Joomla contacts as a content source allows you to display a host of information fields from the Joomla contact manager. It's an ideal way to present an easy to create "who are we" type layout using the Joomla core contact component.

 

A single column layout using contacts as a source

The example below displays all available fields when using Joomla contacts as a content source. All items have a pre-text option which allows the user to specify the text used to precede the field information.

Content options for Joomla contacts

Count

Determines the number of items to display

 

Featured items

Determines whether or not to not show featured items, only show featured items or show both featured and non featured items.

 

Ordering

Determines the order that the contacts should display, including order, reverse order, alphabetical, alphabetical reverse and random.

 

Category to display

A multi-select list of contact categories available.

 

Limit per category

Allows the user to set limits on the number of items referenced from specific categories.
