Can you advise how to reduce the Header / Banner Depth in the Venture Template

Theme Options > Banner and Tabs Style > Banner Minimum Height

Default is 460px.

I have tried lower figures and it makes no difference

Could this be a problem with the theme set up. After each change the compile less function continuously displays the Compiling less to css and saving your changes .... message and then hangs.
