How can a create a very simple horizontal menu in bottom4 position.
If I put the menu module to "footer" position it works fine. but in bottom4 the menu is always vertikal.

Have you given the position enough width?

What is the width of the position?

Thanks for your reply.

How can I expand the width over bottom2 to bottom4?
Using the newstream2 template.
Does the bootstrap function work? I set the bootstrap size of the module to 2 but it did not change anything.

Hi there,
You need to set the width of modules in the layout panel in the template settings.

To make a horizontal menu there you would need to add some custom css perhaps or try using the module class nav-tabs for that specific module. At the moment the menu has the menu class nav-stacked which will always render a vertical menu.

Let us know how you get on.

thanks for the description how to change the layout itself.
I was actually looking for a solution how to span individuals modules over several positions.
Any idea for that?

Not sure that is technically possible

Are you able to simply unpublish some module positions and then make certain modules wider?
