adjusting width with resizer bar

Hi! I recently installed template lifestyle2 (1.0.2) with framework T3 (2.4.7). I want to display my main content on the left with one side bar at the right, in a 8-4 proportion. I can only get a 6-6 layout. I saw in the video tutorials some resizer bars to adjust this, but i'm not seeing these bars in my template configuration.

Hi

Can I just check you have followed these steps >

Template admin > Layout section > Clicked the responsive layout text at top of layout section

Then clicked and dragged on the three squares?
