Grid3: Position of picture-grid (grid1) and grid4

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello Bamboo-Team,

I installed Grid3 with a fresh installation and it took me some hours, but now the page looks similar to the demo site.

A few things are missing:

1. The Lady "I am an artist" (demo site > homepage > grid4) refuses to stay right next to the picture-grid (demo site > homepage > grid1). She prefers to stay under it.
Usually I respect the wishes from women but in this case .. How can I place her on the right side next to grid1?

2. My logo text ist bold and the picture-grid (grid1) from the homepage starts not directly under the logo but with some space between it. How can I change it to Logo font normal and no space between logo and pic-grid (just as the demo site)? T3 and Zentools are new for me and I got a bit blind after hours, sorry.

Thanks,
Saidy

With

1. you need to remove the two positions not being used and remove the position widths so they add up to 12

At the moment the two positions with content add up to 13

2. Try tweaking the css for the logo and the area below it

.logo h2 {padding:0;}

.subpage #grid1wrap {
margin-top: 0px;
}

Looking at the site if you re-gig the positions as I suggested it will give you something like

If you are unsure about handling the responsive width / layout tab check out this article

1. Can't find the option to remove grids and position width. In "Template Layout > Module Positions" I can only find "select a position = none".

Bytheway in the demo site source code grid1 is set to 9 and grid4 to 3. Don't understand where the 1 more content grid in my layout comes from. As I don't need it on this site how can I disable it here? :dry:

Actually looking at the template settings > click the number 2 in that row and resize the positions in the responsive layout section

However they did it in the demo site with grid4 .. I've changed it to grid2 and now it works!

Thanks for your help!
