There is no image in the Grid 2 Template style.
That was my first port of call.

I just downloaded and checked the template style applying on the home page

And it is the container image

Switching to inherit leaves me white space as the text is also white and no image

Back to Grid 21 and Grid 22 that site side by side

If you want to add them side to side try removing the module class

I'd suggest using two module positions one with the map and one for the contact module

Finally sorted the contact and map.

Have issues with the loss of Firebug ... the "new" option I despise with a passion makes the simple complex.

Completed a workaround with an image ... cannot get rid of the image in anyway. Even manually editing the generated files.

I think Firebug was discontinued due to the firefox tools

I use Chrome and I think everybody here uses it becaue of the developer tools

Not sure why you are having problems with the image glad you got it sorted

Yes I did use quickstart Paul.

HAve had some weird issues with grid not responding on a couple of templates.
Ended up deleting the content and module and the position in the template and beginning with a different grid to get the issue resolved.

No time to chase issues right now ... frustrating, but that's life
