zentools not behaving properly

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi,

I have searched the forum and read other posts about zentools issues but none addressed my problem. Zentools won't respect my image size (150x150 pixels) or allow for margins between items.

I am running Buildr in Joomla 3.8, php 7, zentools2 2.3.7. The site is on Siteground and I have disabled the cache. I re-downloaded Zentools2 and reinstalled it. (I didn't try uninstalling it first.) I cleared Joomla cache and uninstalled any unnecessary components.
I have tried changing the layout to list, stacked etc as a test but the image is always too big.

Here is the site: pinatel721.com/pack/

Any help is appreciated.

Forgot to mention, I have also tried it with crop image selected and deselected. The image still wants to fill 100% of the container and the margins are missing.

Hi Joanne,

Do you have Disable margin between items enabled?

It is the "Module layout and settings" section of the options tab

With the image settings do you have

"Make image fill the width of the container" enabled?

No, I don't have the 'disable margins between items' or the 'make images fill the width of the container' selected. I DO have 'make items equal height' enabled.

I had selected 'boxed' as the theme. When I change it to 'none' the images are the right size but not centered and still no margin. Under the theme tab, I have css handling on Master. Could that be the problem? I tried it on Custom at one point just to see what it did -- maybe I broke it?

Hi Paul,

I left it on 'none' for the theme and added this to center it:

.zentools .zt-left {
text-align: center;
}

But I still can't figure out how to get the margins to show up. I'm sure it is something I did.

Sorry for multiple posts!

If I add this I get the margins:

.zt-item-1 {background: #fff; margin-right: 5px; width: 23%;}
.zt-item-2 {background: #fff; margin-right: 5px; width: 23%;}
.zt-item-3 {background: #fff; margin-right: 5px; width: 23%;}
.zt-item-4 {background: #fff; width: 23%;}

But it doesn't look great on smaller screens.

Hi Joanne,

Are you able to open a ticket and I will look for you?
