sticky margin?

In the zentools module shown, i simply cannot find a way to make the margin disappear.

zentools2 image is set to 'fill the width of the container'
buildr grid1 (in this case) is set to no padding, no margin (both row and container)

i have a solution - took things up to a higher altitude. I used a page class so this script doesn't break things anywhere else.
.homepageonly #grid1wrap {
    width: 110%;
    margin-left: -5%;
}

color it resolved.

Well I bought my dad a case of Prosecco so I'm hoping for something a bit stronger than tea

Although my mum does have some loose tea from a luxury hamper from fortnum and mason :)

Looking forward to have some cups of that :)
