This is not currently a pressing problem but I believe it could be when managing multiple Joomla websites - I wanted to know if it's possible to update Buildr without needing to log in to the template admin. to recompile each time (and is this a possible feature you guys are working on)?

I don't think is something we can say yes or no

It would depend on what was being updated in the template

Would also depend on the child themes involved

Okay, thanks...I understand. I'm trying to figure out how I would go about updating a multitude of sites, if the need were to arise, with all sites running JB templates.
If, for example, 100s of sites needed to be updated then that would be a pretty big challenge each time.

With the new framework that you guys plan on releasing, I'll probably insert 1 theme/child theme for each installation I carry out (as opposed to having multiple themes in the package) - do you think doing that would make remote updates, via a central update/management console, to all sites easier then?

As far as possible, I would most likely create my own presets (and remove all the club stuff that ships with Buildr)...then carry out remote management/updates via a central place like watchful.li or similar.
