1) That I can't really say yes or no I'm afraid at the moment

2) At the moment I would leave using ufatfiti in this case till we release the next plugin version.

I am currently unclear at the moment where buildr ends and the framework takes over - I need to test the plugin myself and I've only got the latest copy 5 mins ago

I will send you an email or attach the plugin after Christmas I think
