Nothing I do in 'Base Font Size' changes anything

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I'm trying to style text in the default template on this site, but no matter what I put in the 'base font size' field changes the base font size. the custom /css has no declarations regarding the base font size (and when I add one, it do anything, either).

[also, adding analytics code in the script field before closing head tag doesn;t add the code.]

CREX: This is Corporation, not Buildr.

A quick thought, for starters have you cleared the cache everywhere? Joomla, plugins, host, IPA?

A different IPA last night - Baxter, from Maine. Quite good.

With base font size it can mean the developer needs to add custom.css adjustments to target font size in different parts of the site

e.g. menu might need bigger or smaller font sizing or font labels are too big etc

That isn't working either, in that .article-content > p { code } works on everything *except* font size. As Ian said, I could try a different IPA, but it's still too early for that here.

And I was wrong, it IS Buildr, not Corporation. :pinch: Having a tough morning here.

So what do you have currently for the base font size? 14px?

Cheers

Hi

I can see that 18px is being applied in the template css but source code is then loading /media/jui/css/bootstrap.min.css after this for some reason which is then taking priority and setting base font to 14px.

A not sure why, not seen it with buildr on my sites, could the gallery module be loading joomla bootstrap after the template css? If so you could turn this off in the module and on in the template. Been long day but might give a steer to start hunting down the issue.

Cheers Ian

so...custom is loading later, according to my source page. i'm loading a touch of grid via the template so i don't know why the jui is loading. i'll see what happens if i suppress it with jquery easy.

Thanks Ian - suppressing that w JQuery Easy did the trick. Doesn't seem to hurt the site any. Too early to celebrate, though. The Baxter Stowaway IPA stays in the cooler a while longer.
