Hi, I tried again to master the buildr template. I got many things working but I have dificulties to make the main navi work on mobile. I attached a screenshot to illustrate what I would like to have on small screens. You can see it working for desktop at dev.kite-and-windsurfing-guide.com/de/ .

I need the user menu at the same place but working on mobile even when it contains 20 items. The main navi (right now just containing "Unterkünfte") schould transform into the hamburger menu and then work in the same way as the user menu will.

Even the lang switcher stops working on small screens.

I dont get it, sorry. What design do you mean? I am not asking for a design.

I would like to know, how I set up the menu, so the desktop menu disappears and the hamburger appears on small screens. And then how I feed the hamburger Icon with the same menu items as the desktop menu.

Also need to know why the language switcher does not work on small screens.

I could not find "mobile trigger" in your docs so I dont know what a mobile trigger is.
I only need to know how I get the hamburger on phones (see my first screenshot) and why the user menu stops working on phones.

BTW It is really disturbing that I dont get notifications on forum posts. Maybe you can fix that. No, there is nothing in my spam forlder.

Check in the Design Tab (left tabs)

Then with this panel open look to the right under the <general settings> panel > select layout tab.

Scroll down to the section for <collapse menu> - select something other than none form the dropdown.

Further down in the <Breakpoints> section look for nav collapse and enter a suitable breakpoint, make sure you add px the number.

This should then trigger the hamburger or similar if this is setup. If you need to set this you can do in the menu tab, again there are plenty of options. Make sure you look at the toggle menu section, you will need {zen-bars}{/zen-bars} at least to show the hamburger.

Make sure also you have zenshortcodes plugin installed and enabled.

This should help you along until the JB support/Paul gets back to you, hope it helps.

Thank you Ian. Got the toggle-menu showing up on the phone but it does not work correctly: if there are more menu items than currently fit on the screen you would normally scroll down but the menu is fixed, So I conclude that the toggle-menu does not work on phones, right?

yeah ... so I just checked ... the toggle menu does not even work on your demos when using my phone. Hence I go for the off canvas which seems to work.

.... a new ZTE with Android 5 and a dick substitution (iPhone)

The off canvas is also not a real option at its standard size because it does distort the login menu. I set the width already to "wide" but it is still way too narrow on phones.
