How do I make content in an article full screen width? For example slider, or carousel, google map etc. So far I’ve only been able to do this with background images for rows.

Hi

You need to target the main row in the design tab, this has the maincontent (that will hold the article component).

Click on this main row to open up the main row settings panel on the right hand side. Then the style tab, and open up the container style accordion.

Then set/check the make container fullwodth check box. This will make the main row fullwidth, and the article content or other component full width.
