Adding white space to blog posts in Boost template

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I created a blog in Boost:
colorjinn.com/color-blog
However, the blogposts follow one another way too close. There should be more white space between one blogpost's end and the title of the next. Is there any way to do that? The extra space could be either before or after a blog post.

Hi There

Try adding

.itemid-111 .leading {margin-top:3em;}

For customisation options please check out

This style is just targeting the home page body class

Thanks Paul,
I use a template because my technical skills are quite limited. So unfortunately I have no clue where to put the line of code you so kindly provided. Nor how that pertains to the homepage body class.

Right no probs

This is the relevant section of the document

"If you are happy to use one of the default themes without making too many broad changes it is possible to add small changes to your theme in a file called css/custom.css."

"The template comes with a file called custom_rename_to_custom.css file which after you rename to custom.css file it will be loaded by the template. The custom.css file is loaded after all other css files and will automatically override any existing css style if the correct specificity is used."

To find this file its

\templates\boost\css\custom_rename_to_custom.css

you need to rename it so it's named custom.css - you can either do this via ftp or via the server cpanel

Once you have this file renamed paste the line as is

.itemid-111 .leading {margin-top:3em;}

With the comment

"This style is just targeting the home page body class"

Basically I'm telling you what I did and explaining it only applies to the home page (each page has its own different itemid number)

So for any other blog pages the style won't work
