zentools v 2.3.2 in home joomla layout

Ordering Random

in 6 columns

content 6 categories with a lot of subcategories

shows only 9 or 10 items and 3 or 2 are blank


There are some files with utf 8 characters, but they are displayed correctly in content view

We found the problem:
I set a nice placeholder image and here they are:


Zen tools handles the filenames
in different way in images mode than in Joomla mode. it doesn’t load the intro images of the article with special characters in joomla mode.

How can we set zentools to read utf-8 characters in joomla mode like in image mode
