Zentools2 Accordion Issue

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I'm using the Base3 (Latest version) Template and ZenTools2 (Latest version) on a site: www.retinarecovery.ca/frequently-asked-questions/

I am unable to get the accordion format of the Zentools2 to remain closed on the page load. It will only close when I click on one of the articles. I've noticed that I'm having issues on several pages with the same set-up.

I'm at a loss now as to what I might be missing.

No rush on the troubleshooting during the weekend.

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks Paul. I'm here to help with you sanity. LOL.

- I have disabled JS Compression
- I've cleared the cache
- I've tried it in several browsers

Same Result.

Yes it is Paul. I didn't even think about adding that to my overview of the issue.

I cleared the cache (Joomla and browser) after each change and reviewed the site:

- disabled Lazyload
- moved the position to belowcontent; disabled jQuery load

Still no success.

Since this is a new business of my mine that I've launched I'm not too concerned if we can't solve this. I thought there might be something easy that I was missing. I don't want you guys to go through much trouble on it.

Do you want me to load ZenTools 1 and see if it will work then just for troubleshooting?

Hi Paul,

I ended up not using the Accordion Menu. I decided it was best for my site that the list of FAQs was already open as I might have seniors visiting the site and I didn't want to frustrate them. I do like using it though to decrease the amount of real estate used on a website.

Thanks again,

Steve

sorry I missed replying on this one

Thanks for the update

We have added updates to the module - the latest version was added yesterday to pick up a few snags - don't think it covered your issue

Get back to us if you change your mind with the open state of the module

Thanks Paul for the info on the latest release. What is the best way of staying up on the updates so I don't miss them?

Normally I'd have said

twitter.com/jbactivity

But something seems to have broken on the twitter update link

So will need to check on this one with Anthony
