jce mediabox problem

Hi - I've got a strange problem with JCE media box popups.
When I first go to the site a popup opens automatically on the home page.
If I close the popup and navigate away the problem disappears.
If I quit out of the browser and relaunch, the problem reappears.
Safari, Chrome and IE on the PC all behave the same.
If I inspect the page and look at the console there are a whole string of errors I don't understand - but none of them appear to relate to JCE.
Anyone got any ideas where I'm going wrong?

Ah. User error again.

Auto popup is a setting in the links dialogue box when you create the popup.
