My site's smart search shows more characters than the limit specifies. Is this a bug with Joomla or linked to this template?

search for "cd"
I do not want those buy buttons to load. I have 100 characters selected to show in the smart search options.

I've not used Smart search much but I would expect this to be a joomla issue

Have you tried a quick test with switching to a default joomla template?

I can also see its displaying plugin syntax code

Buttons if worst came to the worse you could hide in the results using the search-results list-striped and then button class with display none

Yeah, I see it with Breez template too.

I have not found ANY talk about this problem. I don't see how to strip the results in the options.

hmm not sure how big the site is but perhaps test having

{loadposition music}

wrapped in a div

<div class="smart">{loadposition music}</div>

and then hide the smart class in search results

I was looking at ways you could hide content using display none
