Hi - I want to put a slide show and some text in banner position, so I've used this code in custom html module:

<div class="left" style="width: 200px;"><p>Here are some words</p></div>
<div class="right" style="margin-bottom:-100px;"><p>{loadposition bannerslide}</p></div>
<div style="clear:both;"></div>

I have jQuery turned on - the slideshow didn't appear at all without it.

It works, but every time the image in the slideshow changes, the whole slideshow bounces to the left, and then back again.

It might be appropriate for the site, but anyone any ideas how I can prevent it?

Use 1 zentools module using the two columns layout rather that separate modules
