Also you need to ask the host to disable magic quotes

"Your host needs to disable magic_quotes_gpc to run this version of Joomla!"

You can trim the space by adding

#logo .moduletable {margin-bottom: 0px;}

to the custom css code

I'd suggest cropping the image to a smaller size first

Hi

It depends on what areas you want to keep the marked areas are

html, body, #zen-wrap, #top-area-row {
background: url(../images/pattern-main.jpg);
}

so instead add background: none

Try this

#topwrap {background: none;}

We use the Chrome web developer tools for troubleshooting :)

Hi Ruzaidee

Try adding this

#main-row, #navwrap, #top-area-inner, #main-row-inner {background: none;}

You will need to change some font colours as well
