I am trying to install the focus2 and get the menu working, but unfortunately, it stops here already..
I downloaded 2 zips (tries to install them both, but only the first/smallest installs, the bigger one (quickstart) does nothing?
Then I read the manual (docs.joomlabamboo.com/joomla-template/focus2/6_Starting-from-scratch.html) and are stuck with the step nr 3:
Elements to publish / Unpublish
1.Set the Focus2 template as the default template in the template manager.
2.Edit the Focus2 template and save settings to update the current configuration.
3.Publish the zenmenu plugin via the plugin manager
4.Publish the Zen Shortcode plugin via the extensions manager.

because I simply cannot fing this item anywhere...

furthermore, when I rename the menuitems, (or add some items) the menu doesn't change, it still shows the Original 'home' text.. this question related to the first issue?

The quickstart is a copy of the demo site so needs to be installed to an empty folder

For the menu you have downloaded and enabled the zen menu plugin?

It's a separate download on the template download page

For the last point

this could a couple of things

Are you planning to upload the site?
or can you attach screenshots of the issue?

but still not the correct menu. any ideas?

Are you using the one page layout?

If you open up the template settings and look under menus it should be listed there - if its enabled

That brings another question: Why is the menu-setup different in the one-page layout from the not-one-page layout?

One page menu is driven by modules published on that page

Depending on the module row the module is published on it will trigger a menu link (it can display content in the component / article area as well and this will also trigger a link but it behaves the same way)

When a normal menu works using a menu module linking to pages, components etc
