No content showing on front page of focus2

I'm having a problem showing content on the front page (i.e. Home menu)
I thought it was the template setting somewhere but I can't find it. Instead I made a menu item called news set it to list all featured articles (which is what I wanted the home page to do) and it shows fine when selected . . . . UNTIL . . . I gave the news menu a zenmenu icon of Home and I place it's order as FIRST on the menu list? Now the content wont show on the home/news page. I don't know why. Any help on this?

I'm fairly sure it's a setting to allow the home menu just to be vacant so the user can see the background images. But no matter what style I apply it still doesn't show any content on the home (or first menu item) menu.

Hi

In the layout tab of the template settings - at the top

Do you have " Hide maincontent on front page" set to on?

Cheers
