Changing Content in Top Right Slideshow

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

This is my first forum post and I am really new to Joomla so this will no doubt be classified as a "dumb" question. But if I don't ask I won't be able to get much done.
I am trying to change the content on the Zentools slideshow | Header. I found the Header Slogan module which is in the Header position but I can't seem to find the articles that it is using in the slideshow.
The articles (or whatever you call them) start with the words:
Pellentesque
Fusce Vitae
Aliquam imperdiet
Donec ultricies
Aliquan erat
I want to edit these articles with my own content. Could you rell me where I can find them?

cheers,

Jim

Hi Jim,

No problem - everybody starts from the beginning at some point

The slideshow is different from the articles you mention

The slideshow is the module named "Frontpage Slideshow"

The "articles (or whatever you call them) start with the words ..."

This is the module called "Featured Items"

The best way to find them is to use the filters on the left side of module manager using type and then zentools
or
paste in the title of the modules

I'd suggest clicking the empty box column by the module so its selected and then duplicate (from at the top of the screen) so you have a copy just in case of the module

Cheers

Thanks for your reply Paul.
I have looked in the module "Featured Items" many times since yesterday and still cannot find where I can edit the phrases that appear in the top right corner.
I can't find anything that shows these phrases:
Pellentesque
Fusce Vitae
Aliquam imperdiet
Donec ultricies
Aliquan erat

Hi Jim,

Its loading content from three categories called

Services
Work
News

The module layout tab is set to load "titles" - so the text you see in the title of the articles in those categories (titles are trimmed to the module title character limit)

Hi Paul,

I can see in the Featured Items module on the Content Type Settings tab where you have selected those three categories. I don't see where you have selected the title only to display.

But when I go to the Content / Category manager and select any of those 3 categories, Services, work or news, I do not see any titles at all, just a blank page.

Hi Jim,

Blank page meaning entirely white with no admin panel or just no article content?

Title is set to display in the zentools layout tab - its drag and drop controlled

Do you see this if you use the search tools and filter for that category?

When I use the filter and search the category I see the same 3 results that you sent me in the picture. Neither one of those 3 contain the words that I am looking for in order to change the title.

Pellentesque
Fusce Vitae
Aliquam imperdiet
Donec ultricies
Aliquan erat

I looked in the layout tab but which exact module of zentools should I be looking at in order to find the correct titles. I have looked through about 5 without seeing them.

Yes sorry I also used the article manager and the tools button and saw the same 3 results as you saw. But none of them had the titles I was looking for.

Right ok

I'm wondering if I'm looking at the right page

Is the module you want to change on the home page?

www.structuredwaterproducts.net

It is the slideshow that displays 5 titles. I want to change the words that are displayed.

Hi Paul,

That makes a lot of sense that Zentools is using the articles in the testimonial category.
The only thing is that I cannot find any articles in the testimonial category so I still can't locate where the words are that I am looking for. .
