fa-spin

How do I get the fa-spin to work in article titles?

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ejo8pz32oy56cj7/Screenshot%202015-04-27%2014.15.11.png?dl=0

And am I doing this wrong anyways, since this is happening?
<title>{zen-wrench fa-spin}Buggy Whip Repair{/zen-wrench fa-spin}</title>

This works in the article but not the title:
<i class="fa fa-spin">{zen-wrench}{/zen-wrench}</i>

Wait, I think there is some confusion.

A "Spinner" is the circle of dots.

"spin" is "Animated Icons" that should make the icon rotate clockwise. Font Awesome's example is <i class="fa fa-spinner fa-spin"></i>
fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/examples/

On my site I can get the zen-wrench to spin in the article description just not in the article title.

2ND ISSUE:

The zen shortcode is not displaying right in the article titles.

A. Category blog displays like this: Buggy Whip Repair"> Buggy Whip Repair
181.224.134.27/~outfront/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=193&Itemid=1140

B. The article browser title displays like this: <span class="fa fa-wrench"></span> Buggy Whip Repair
181.224.134.27/~outfront/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=260:buggy-whip-repair&catid=193:do-it-yourself-car-building-blog&Itemid=1140

Regarding the browser tab - for performance issues we didn't include this feature so to remove it you will need to use the page display tab and add the link there

For the documentation Anthony has just added

Preventing shortcodes from rendering in the browser page title.

As a means of providing improved performance for the Zen Shortcode plugin, the plugin will not reset any html added to your page titles. This means that in some instances you may see html markup in the browser tab / page title when viewing a page that uses shortcode syntax in the page title.

To remove the html markup simply go to the menu for that item in your menu manager and specify a page title for your item.

Edit the menu item in question
Navigate to the Page Display tab
Add your Browser page title without the shortcode syntax
Press save.
This will ensure that your browser page title does not contain any html.

Ok, I understand why it was removed from the browser title. Unfortunately, I do not typically create a menu item for every article on the website. That would be a little much on some of my large 60k+ article sites :-) LOL

I would typically type in a custom Page Title in sh404sef, but as always I was looking for an efficient solution (lazy) LOL

Hey Jeff,

Yeah I know its a bit of a line ball call I guess. I could make it an option. Just have a feeling there are issues with performance if we rewrite the page title. It basically involves reparsing the page (I think) ... Ill add it as an option anyway and just have it turned off.

Looking at the spin icons now.

And sh404sef does work well with the shortcodes in the Category title either:

Great job on the addition!

Not sure if you know but the icons do not display on this page: docs.joomlabamboo.com/zen-grid-framework-4/theme/Using-shortcodes.html

Like they do on this page:

Hi Jeff,

I think we added that so the syntax is available to follow rather than see the icons - will check with Anthony later

Thanks

If possible how do I put multiple icons together?

I tried but failed with:
{zen-wrench}{zen-bullhorn}|:TEXT{/zen-bullhorn}{/zen-wrench}
