I had a look at the site/thread.

Are you saying the only way to do this is to use zentools slideshow, even though all I need is one static image in the bg? or... a straight static image (not in CSS "background" mode) ?

With a background image it will be the height of content that determines the height of the background image

So back to my question:
Is it possible to display full with images with Xero? (As in Lifestyle2)... without a slideshow... if I don't want more than one image.

Basically, can I have a full width area, with a bg picture, in various modules of this template?

Hi

So create a custom html module in a position
>
then go to the Theme Panel in the template admin
>
Then click row style and choose that row that the position is in and choose the value "fullwidth"
