So I'm thinking I'm missing something simple here, but essentially the border around the search bar (the form portion where the user inputs what they're searching for) is tied to the general "border-color" attribute in layout manager interface.

For whatever reason however the search box's background is set to change colors to match the box's border whenever the form is hovered over.

(EX: Border color for my search bar is black and background is white, would like to keep it this way but when hovered over the background of the search bar changes to black effectively making invisible the black text the user is typing)

How would I keep the search bar's border from effecting its background color when hovered over, or better yet, how can I turn off the search bar's hover over effect all together if that's a more simple solution?
