How does the setup work?

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Actually - 1.0.3 is just available now.

Can you try that version?
Thanks

Thanks - we have a fairly comprehensive test bed set up with different servers, localhosts etc and are getting intermittent results.

One install we can replicate the issue on but the attached zip seems to fix it.

Are you able to test the package? Its seems like an odd issue that only pops up in some circumstances. Your local setup being one of them.

Thanks

Thanks - save button has been changed to rule out the affect of the default behaviour for Joomla save - setting up an install based on your settings. Thanks

Thats likely be cause the settings are empty. Ive uploaded v1.0.4 which fixes some other issues but Im unsure about yours.

I have no issues saving details using the files you supplied via email so at the moment I have to consider it an environment issue.

Are you able to upload to a server to test this?

Thanks

I have to consider it an environment issue
That is odd because I have many other sites running here without any problem. So it cannot really be the environment. Uploading to a server is not really useful because I need to develop the site locally. I need to fix that. What could I change on my local setup to make Xero work?

Its a Xero specific issue. But one that is related to your specific setup. I am yet to be able to test on an environment that exhibits the behaviour. The last few releases have solve many of the issues related to saving.

If you could upload to a live server then we can prove this point. That its related to your local server. As I have said your template files save and compile fine for me on:

osx Mamp
pc Xamp and Bitnami stack

Thanks

I've completely rewritten the save process now so I'm hoping it fixes your issue.

We cant get it to happen on any sites that were behaving oddly before.

Thanks

Are you still getting that error n the console? You are saving to config-template-id.json.

Can you send me your files again so I can see?

Just installed 1.0.6 and now when I choose a style and hit the blue "Load Saved Settings" button next to the select my choice is reset to "Select saved settings to apply". When I reload the page my choice is still not there.

With 1.0.6 my theme has vanished. "Replace jQuery" was also reset.

I set up a live site for you to test. You should have received an email.

Thank you.
Ive just reverted the download back to 1.0.5 because there was a breaking change in saving new layouts. Getting a fix now and will look at your site.
Also will get to your ticket later today.
Thanks again.
