im using joomla version 3.3.6
i try to upload lifestyle2 quickstart but it cnt install in my joomla.
may i know why?

Hi

You can't install a quickstart into an existing installation - it needs to be extracted into and empty folder and then installed as per a normal Joomla installation

The quickstart contains a version of the T3 plugin so it will work fine without any update

On the template download page on the Joomla Bamboo site there is a T3 download link

May i know how to change image in the slideshow at home?

Hi

You need to edit the zentools module called "frontpage Slideshow"

The two tabs you are interested in are

1. layout (content source = e.g. where the pics are loaded from
2. Image source settings (this lists the directory the images are from)

At the moment the quickstart won't load any page - what are you looking for the images to do if clicked?

You need to open up the image settings tab and change the resizing options - you need the images themselves to be big enough and of sufficient quality first

may i know what exactly size ideally for that position?

There isn't really an ideal size as it depends on the subject matter of the image

Images don't work well or at all if increases in size are required - the images should be bigger than is required for the template but also optimised file size wise

Image sizing/optimissation - may be worth checking out this blog article
