Zentools 2 - layout list articles slow to update

I am using Zentools2 layout list using Content Selection by Category 'News' to display news articles in a list on the homepage. It works really well but when I post a new article with the Category 'News' it won't show on the site straight away. It has always done this. Any ideas why?

I am using Zentools 2 (2.3.3.) Base3 template with Joomla 3.6.4

Are you running any caching / cdn etc?

Have you checked the global config, plugin manager for caching and the server cpanel - some hosts cpanel have it enabled by default
