Upgrading Base3?

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi Friends,

So, I have a site www.specialed.org running an older version of Base3, and it doesn't render properly on a phone.

My question is, will installing the latest version of Base3, along with its supporting tools fix the problem, without losing all my customization? Would the customcss translate properly? The version running now has theme magic. I have attached the info page on it.

Thanks! :)

Hi

Base3 is responsive so should work fine

At the moment I do see a table

<table border="0" align="center" style="width: 650px;">

which is causing a problem

Thanks,
So I should just upload the newest version of Base3, after backing up? And will it give me the same Template Style controls as other newer templates like Rasa2 and Responsive2?

Do I also need to upload the T3 Plugin, JB Type, Zentools, Zenkit, JB Maps, Zen Social?

Sorry I wasn't clear any template or update you do will still encounter the same problem

As the table has a fixed width any device displaying the site will show a scroll bar if it's narrower than 650px

Ok, thanks. I'll now turn my attention to moving everything to Rasa2.

Right so you are working on a development site for this?
e.g. migrating the real site to a different domain and then working on it there
