Base 3 question - "<Prev" and "Next>" buttons

Can you control the placement of the "<Prev" and "Next>" buttons?
Can they be present in some articles and absent from other?

Yes although its the categories

With Joomla you have the global configuration settings but these can be overridden in a couple of ways

So I'd set the global configuration to no navigation and then override that option in the caategory menu link

Just be careful as it can get confusing I've found
Maybe add a note on the link so its obvious
