hi, I am not sure why it is like this
if the URL is nevo.sa.edu.au/index.php?tp=1 then sidebar menu link is displayed as it is on the image



however if the URL is nevo.sa.edu.au thenthen sidebar menu link disappeared as it is on the image




why do they show differently and how can I make it to be displayed?

I am not sure the icon of the right hand side of menu bar is showing the top one which position is showing wich address with ?tp=1 but the actual website (not showing position) doesn't show the icon on the right hand side of the menu bar. I am confused what makes the icon to disappear.

But if you want to turn on off sidebar canvas you need to go to the addons tab in the template admin

"Off-canvas Sidebar
Enable off-canvas sidebar then select effect for the Off-canvas sidebar."

this is the website nevo.sa.edu.au and i think I have setup off-slide bar to show up.

how can I trigger to open a off-side slide bar.

how can I create a button / icon to click to open the off-slide bar.

When I compare a local install with yours it looks like you have it disabled are you sure you are editing the right template style?

Hi, I think I am on a correct template....but i am not entirely sure. it is say Base3 - Default style......


as I have solved a few issues like couldn't change the sub menus width, but since installed plugin's again the most of the issues gone, but this one i can't solve. i have installed JBtype again too.

what is the best way to unistall and install all plugins? off-canvas sidebar cannot be enabled, so i can't see a position under Layout either.

The default style will apply as long as don't have any other template styles specifically assigned to pages
