New Lifestyle - right sidebar issue

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi JB team,

I have a dev site (offline)
user: demotech
pw: demo

www.zero-g-solutions.com/zgsmarketplace/specialty-retail.html is an example of the issue.

I have the settings so that the sidebar will be on the right side - however, no settings that I make will shift it properly.

The only time I can have it display on the left is if I have both sides active, but then then the main content gets sized for the spacing of two sidebars regardless if anything is published to them.

I would like the main content to be the size as the example, but with only one sidebar on the right.

Thanks,
Pam

Hi Pam,

What layout are you using?

Looking at the demo site and adding a new template style with the default layout it seems fine

Cheers

Can you provide me with the details of the template style you used?

No matter what I tried, the sidebar remains on the left.

thanks,
Pam

I think this might be a source for the solution:

If I change the circled item to "pull-left" rather than "pull-right" then everything works fine.

where or how can I make the template layout do this?

or change the settings so that it is removed, then the layout appears to function as set in the template styling

All's good, I had created a conflict with the changes I made to the main navigation width which affected the sizing of anything else using span4 or span8.

Being more specific on the changes I needed resolved my self-inflicted issue:) :S

thanks heaps for your patience!
