Integration confusion

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I am using the New Lifestyle template. Do I need to download and install the JB library plugin and the Zen grid framework separately? They do not show up in my list of joomla! plugins....
Thanks!

You shouldn't install either

JB library can be useful if you have a jquery conflict but this doesn't normally happen

Ok... The zentools documentation says the following:

If you want to take a closer look at how we do this you can see the image resize script in the ---media/zengridframework/helpers/image.php ---or the --- media/plg_jblibrary/helpers/image.php --- folder.

Neither of these folders are on my disk. Is this a problem?
Thanks.

Not exactly sure which bit you are referring to but with all T3 templates you don't need to install either the framework or JB library

So that includes templates since Jan 2013

The part I was talking about was located under zentools / resizing images:

I thought I would resize the images I am displaying in the tabbed container. I think I'm getting it finally.. I think when you use a responsive template you don't have quite as much control...

I would like to change the styling on my verticle menu in a sidebar, though! The default colors are too subtle to use. I have changed the active link to have a background, as you can see below, but how would I change on hover? I tried just adding li.hover, but it doesn't work....
THANKS!

/* collection module menus display of active link */
#mainWrap .sidebar ul.nav > li.active > a,
#mainWrap .sidebar ul.nav > li.active span.nav-header {
color: white;
background: #607890;
}

And further, when the user browses to this page the first side-bar menu item doesn't appear to be 'active', but it is; it is the article that the main menu points to, but is doesn't appear to be selected or active. I can see it's ID in Inspector, but it isn't actually 'current active' yet: can I force it to be 'current active' upon landing on the page?
Again, thanks.

Responsive imagery is tricky and is still evolving on the web

Do you have a link for the site?
