joomla 3.3 and New Lifestyle

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I upgraded to joomla 3.3 and my New Lifestyle template doesn't work. I make a change to a module and it wouldn't save.

Hi,

Are you running the latest t3 plugin that is compatible with J3.3?

Have you cleared and purged Joomla's cache after updating?

Backend javascript has all been rewritten to use jQuery so I think this might be a browser cache problem.

Rob

I cleared the browser history and it started working. Right now I'm trying to upload images in specific folders and the images go to the root directory of the images. And no, I haven't updated to the latest t3 plugin

Cheers,
Alina

You will need to update T3 for theme magic to work correctly.

The image upload problem is a bug with J3.3 I think and the removal of mootools: joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker/?action=TrackerItemEdit&tracker_item_id=33413&start=0

I updated the T3. I still have the same problem with the image folders. I can't get to upload in the folder, but in the root folder.

I uploaded some photos with the K2 image manager. There the problem is the file names. It doesn't accept any quotes or accents. This site is in French.

That sounds like Joomla try using ftp if you really want to try uploading with these filenames

Hi

The image folder is a Joomla bug and is not affected by t3 or the template.

You should not use quotes or accents in filenames as it can break output on certain systems or in different browsers.
Joomla and editors will remove these characters automatically to stop errors from happening.
