I've been struggling to get this site to the point where our client is happy with the output on their iphone and ipad.

1) error message that happens on iphone - if you hit nightlife on the menu with iphone then the attached error message shows in the middle of the page. The page still functions but the error is there and happens on a few other sub links on the site.

2) background header scaling on iphone and ipad is not correct and zooms into the background image way to much. on the header of this homepage on ipad you only see the water tower and immediate area. Problem is even worse on iphone. Android phone seems to scale correctly.

Can you try upgrading to the latest zentools version

That error is a joomla error - I thought that had been patched about a year ago

Yeah it was patched in a Joomla update I thought about a year ago which made me wonder about the iphone software

Thanks for your help on this. I've chosen to try this fix to custom.css

I'll have to check with my client to see if she still gets the error.

It was to do with how joomla sniffed for browsers I think - it was a bug

I'm going to separate item #2 here with a new post.
