it looks like it uploads but it does not say template successfully uploaded and when i go see for it in templates its not there

trying to upload JB_Colourshift2_Buildr_Quickstart_J364_v1.0.zip

ah ok the file itself is the problem

A quickstart file contains joomla

You need to upload the file to an empty folder and that extract / unpack the zip file

Once the zip is unpacked you would then load the domain via the browser as with a standard Joomla install

A quickstart can not be installed into a Joomla site

A quickstart contains a joomla installation which means the file does not install

To install into an existing Joomla you would need to install the standalone template file

I'll move on to installing the quickstart in the next post

To recap the post you upload the quickstart to the root of the site

Then in the cpanel you will be able to unpack the file
