Can't get good Responsive results from template

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hi. Maybe I'm expecting too much, but the responsiveness of this template just doesn't see to play very will with the media/text.

jayreevesphotography.com

It looks fine on a 23" monitor, but put it on a 15" laptop, and it goes to hell.

I looked throught the documentation, but there's nothing in there about the Responsive settings! It explains the General tab settings of Style, Fonts, & Assets, but totally ignores explaining anything on the Layout tab, where it looks like some of the Responsive controls are.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi J,

Are you able to add screenshots and more info on the areas not working well?

Are the issues cross browser?

Cheers

Thanks for the reply, Paul.

Attached is an example - the green text overlapping the module above and below. The green text is in the grid3 position overlapping the content in grid2.

The actual browser page size is 1263x680 - that's what the webpage size shows as on a 1280x800 display with the browser bar at the top & bottom bar.

Shouldn't the photo's be responsive as well? i.e. scale down.

Yes, the issue is there with IE, FF, & Chrome.

Hi, Paul.

So the text in the demo site does not do the same as my text does.

It was odd because when I went into that module to initially change the text, it put a side-bar (pipe) to the left of each text section - I haven't figured out how to remove that. I can see in Chrome Devtools where it's being added, (border left), but have no idea about .

As for the images, the demo site also does not scale down the images on smaller devices either.

Hi J,

I'm having trouble replicating your issue on the devices I've tried

I can see a little of the same problem with the text on an ipad on landscape

Are you able to include a screenshot of what you see on the demo site?

so I can show it to the developers and they can take a look

Thanks
