Hi I uploaded the highline 2 template quickstart and went to install JCE editor and there is no plugin for the extension install at all. IT states "There is no plug in for the install of extensions, please see plug in manager to enable, but then when I go to the plug in manager, these are the things that are present
- the plugin error message "install from web" could not be found ( but the title is there and enabled)
- there is no plugin at all for install from package file,
-in the extensions manage, it states "installer" and has a lock next to it, but it says its there.

Any fixes?

I checked the ftp, there are 3 folders in the folder found in plugin>installer>
>package installer,
>url installer and a
>folder installer.

I also went to "extensions>discover" and the only extensions it said was Buildr, I tried to install that, and I got an error message that said
Call to a member function attributes() on a non-object in /home/micron49/public_html/PorkyPetes2/libraries/cms/installer/adapter/template.php on line 185

Not knowing much about the joomla core, I just thought I would tell you that , I was comparing it to the old folder I have which has a 4th folder a - web installer. ??
Still can't install any extensions though.

I do not know how that happened, but I just clicked on discover for the 4th time and the installer plugins showed up this time!

Regarding using discover I've found sometimes using the clear cache or via the update and then clear cache can show what is in discover if its empty

We need to repack the quickstart I think

Possibly relating to the latest Joomla version as I've seen this issue when updating sites from 3.6.1 to 3.6.2
