Hidden or User menu not linking, not publishing login module

Hi Friends,
www.rennyrussell.com

I am trying to create a discreet login for authorized users - mostly for front end editing. So I've tried publishing an article, where I hope to offer a menu once user has logged in, only available to authorized people, so the modules published to this article would be a login module and a users menu module.

I put it in the copyright module (the link), but it depends from which page you click it from. From home page, where no main content, only modules, it only loads the home page. From other pages, it loads the content of the user login article but no login module, and it also publishes all the modules assigned to the page from which I click.

There must be some sort of setting somewhere that allows hidden menu items and links and modules published to articles that are NOT in the main menu, but I haven't found it.

Thanks

Hi

Do you get the same if the "authorized" link is made public?

How are creating the link?

Are you using the jce editor to point to the link or are you pasting in the link manually?

I'm using JCE, but copying and pasting the link to the text in the module

"but copying and pasting the link to the text in the module"

Not sure what you mean with above

With the editor I'd link to a page using the JCE link options e.g. paperclip > select the menu and click the correct link

The link on the site at the moment looks incorrect

To be honest this is the main reason I use JCE

Way easier than any other method
