Structured data

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

Hello Team JB!
I am using Buildr and I love my results! (Soundequineandcaninecare.com)
I want to start using stuctured data. I have checked how an article looks using the Google Structured Data Testing Tool. Some tags come up just fine: @type, inLanguage, name, articleBody..., but other important ones do not: image (The attribute image.itemtype has an invalid value.), author, datePublished, headline, publisher do not exist.
How can I add these?
I am somewhat comfortable with code and php, but can you suggest the best way to handle this in the Buildr template?

Thanks in advance,
Pat

Hi Pat,

Bit outside of my normal field this one

I understand members have previously used Rereplacer to replaced Joomla's microdata

Users have looked at

www.tassos.gr/joomla-extensions/google-structured-data-markup

For information via the documentation tab and looked at the extension itself

Have you tried experiementing with any plugins? As I said this isn't something I've worked with much

Cheers

Thanks, Paul. I have looked at Tassos' product and may well install it. Because some of the opengraph tags were assigned correctly in the Buildr template I thought maybe I could more directly change things. Maybe this stuff will come together in a further release of Joomla!
Thanks for the reference to joomlaseo: I found their blog very interesting.
