I want to "accordion" several sections of a content-rich web page. Is it better/easier to use javascript for each div, or zentools? (not sure how to use zentools to accomplish this. . . )

What type of content is in the content rich page?

Primarily tables, text, map, photo.

Probably not with zentools as it uses individual pages

You could try slider module class but that is modules

So if it is one page I'd look at an alternate option - maybe tabs or a JED plugin

I am not referring to accordion menus. I am looking at the example at www.joomlabamboo.com/joomla-templates/buildr

It says:
"The accordion layout is a simple collapsible accordion that uses the title of your item as the trigger to open or close the accordion. The accordion can use content from K2, Joomla or images populated from a directory.

Each item is rendered underneath the next one in a vertical list.

Use the title or category as the first item to trigger the accordion.
Select whether to load the accordion with the first item open.
Determine whether to position the icon to the left or the right of the title
Select from a number of different icon types to set next to the title."

I can't find documentation on how to actually do it.

As it's a module it can't use plugin syntax

It takes article or module content to display. Normally users use pages from a category

In the options tab

Layout > Accordion layout

In the module drag and drop section > title and introtext are selected

Then in the content tab selecting either individual articles or categories

It can't divide up content from a single page
