I must admit this is me

"Thanks for the idea to check the system cache. So often all I do is use Cache Cleaner and then CTRL + F5 to clear the browser and it takes."

I only delve deeper if stuck still isn't working :)

Hi Nick,

Cache cleaner is a free extension from regular labs

I use it on sites I have to optimise normally using jch optimise

joomlaseo.com/seo-extensions/jch-optimize

I use this in conjunction as I setting up jch is a pain so I change setting in there and cache clear

Cache cleaner is nice as its adds a button to the bottom of the toolbar so it saves sooooo much time :)

Also it is easy to explain to a user if they are adding / editing content e.g. any change click that button afterwards and add a screenshot with a big arrow

Hi Nick,

regarding quickicon if these aren't compatible they can break the joomla admin in that case disabling them restores the admin

I was in a full panic mode till Rob pointed this out to me on a 2.5 site

In my case I uninstalled the component but left the icon plugin which gave me a white screen on admin load

Hi Steve,

Sounds like a new joomla update looming over a caching issue :(

Yup. I found another site yet again this morning. Yikes. It has been a week of troubleshooting. Definitely not a money making week!

At the moment people are disabling caching by the look of it

That is the only solution I have seen at this point. I wish there was a tool that I could disable all my sites at the same time.

Are you using T3 templates?

If so there is an issue with css/js optimisation after 3.7 update

I'm primarily using the Buildr template but I do have a few with the T3. I will most definitely keep that in mind.
