Hi Paul

On this site www.swanseainbloom.co.uk I have set the logowrap background to a flowery image which is working quite well for me.

Is there any way I can select random images to show in the same place?

I've tried loading a slideshow into the logo position but it's not right for me.

Thanks again

Ian

Hi Ian,

Not easily no

You could make the position full width but then you need to position elements on top of it

So you would need a lot of customisation

Cheers

Hi Paul - thanks for this.

Sorry for the slow reply but I've been having terrible problems with J 3.7.0 with the new fields facility not installing properly and menus corrupting badly.

Are you aware of anyone else having problems?

Thanks again,

Ian

What are you trying to do with extra fields?

At the moment we don't specifically support them in the templates or in any of our extensions

I want to add the name of the business to the user profile to autofill a field in one of the forms.

With the menu

Have you tried downloading a joomla installation and installing some sample data and trying the same process with the menu?

Isis - not quite sure what you mean by downloading a joomla installation.

I'm not quite sure what you mean but have you checked their documentation as they have offered custom fields for a while but not sure with above if this is sufficient

Bit old but might be worth a look around

I'm talking to RS Joomla right now - their documentation is pretty good, and their support is too. It's usually user error with me.

I can work round this anyway, if I have to. I only updated to 3.7 so quickly because it was offering additional fields. I should have waited a bit.

The issue with the menus is far more worrying...

I normally wait a week but have launched a couple of new site versions this week

What access level are you changing the links to and from what?

e.g. public changed to guest for example
