Login Brings Up Profile Window

zentoolsIf you use Zentools please post a review at the Joomla! Extensions Directory.

I see some others have had similar problems, but I can't seem to figure out how to deal with this. My site is agents.docksideproperty.com. When I login I get the profile page and I have to edit and cancel in order to go back to the home page. I can't seem to get around this. I tried to put an internal URL redirect back to the home page (agents.docksideproperty.com/index.php), but it gives me an error,

Warning

Only one of the login redirect fields should have a value.

I am guessing this is something simple that I just can't figure out! There is a demo user, demo, demo.

Thanks,

Roy

I tried to switch to a default template, but the format is different and the menu doesn't show up. Suggestions?

I just switched to Beez3 and changed the menu position and that seems to work ok.

Hi,

Where are you adding the redirection url?

On my local install, I just went to the edit page of the login module, and then in the dropdown for 'login redirection page' I selected the home menu item.

Then when I log in on the front end of the site, I get sent to the homepage after login.

Regards,

Rob

Hi Bob:

I am putting in a menu item for the login and the redirect under 'options' gives me the options of either menu item or internal URL. I have menu item and selected home. I also tried internal URL and put in the URL of the domain. That one gives me an warning saying, "Only one of the login redirect fields should have a value.".

Thanks,

Roy

I am not following, sorry. I don't have an article, I am only using the login from the menu. Am I missing something?
