My client thinks Open+Sans:300:latin is to light.

I'm not sure if possible but how to assign the font Open Sans Regular?

That's too bold.

From looking at google fonts fonts.google.com/specimen/Open+Sans?selection.family=Open+Sans

Open+Sans:300:latin looks like light

What does 400 look like?

Looking at google it seems to indicate regular but I'm not 100% sure

I can adjust the font-weight separately, not problem.

But what I am gathering is that there is not a way to chooce the google font "style". Correct?

I think with this font the weight determines the style

The client did not like it so we switched to another google font for now.
