Hi - I've added a background image to a custom module and I'm floating some text on top of the image.

Problem is the image is truncated to the depth of the text box, and I want to show the complete image, and centre the text on the depth of the image.

Sorry, I didn't explain that well.

The image is under the words Register today. It is 757 pixels deep, but only the area under the text is showing - the rest is cut off.
I would like to show the whole image, with the text centred on the depth of the image.

Hi Ian,

Sorry still not quite 100% following the image is as wide as the content area

I can see there are problems with the register input as it has a fixed width which is a problem on a mobile e.g 500px

With it being a background image the image will resize like this - if it didn't you would lose height and width in proportion to the size reduction

I started off trying to float text above an image using z-index, without success.
How would I do that in a module - if it's possible?

The problem I see is the image will not cover underneath the input as it resizes

Have you factored that in?

I'm aware of the problem with the register - I just wanted to get the link in. working on two sites at once here, always a mistake.
