In template > menus > off canvas trigger text, font awesome code wont work.

For example; <i class='fa fa-bars' aria-hidden='true'></i>

it also wont work in modules etc.

Font awesome is being used for the back to top button so i don't understand what the problem is here?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you using the shortcode plugin syntax?

Do you have the shortcode installed and enabled?

The html is slightly different from the back to top button, that button isn't using <i>

I havn't installed a shortcode plugin no. Can you be more specific as to what plugin i need to install please?

This plugin needs to be installed and enabled

For the module titles you would need to use the shortcode syntax

I would prefer to use font awesome code itself, it seems the icons are of a much better quality however this will have to do.

This loads icons from fontawesome so they should be pretty much the same
