QuickStart - install with existing Joomla install

Hi,

Is it possible to install QuickStart packages in to an existing Joomla installation?

I've installed the normal Buildr template but to be honest I'm finding it a bit confusing compared to other templates. Too many options for me.

Hence I just wanted to overwrite it with the demo and tweak from there. Rather than having to delete and do a new install of Joomla.

Hi

Unfortunately that isn't possible as a quickstart contains Joomla - it can only work in an empty folder

What many users do is have a local installation usingthe quickstart and then the real site on a live server

Then reference the quickstart as a guide
